April Films - Jindabyne Campaign Key Art, Poster and Website Design - 168 - © Frost Design
A film by Ray Lawrence, Jindabyne is a powerful and original film about the things that haunt us. On an annual fishing trip in isolated country, four men find a dead girl's body and it is too late in the day for them to report their find. The next day, instead of making the long trek back they continue fishing. When they finally return, all hell breaks loose over their decision. The key art needed to hint at the themes while at the same time showcasing the film's two international stars. By using a water overlay with moody portraits of the two actors, we were able to literally reference the importance of water in the film while also playing with the idea of what lies beneath.
